Community College Response to Systemic Racism
This event will introduce community college faculty, staff, and administrators to systemic racism as a form of racial, ethnic, gender and economic oppression that harms community college students, faculty, staff, and administrators as they seek to work and live their lives at our institutions. The program will outline the various manifestations of systemic racism, explain their persistence, and outline guidelines for establishing campus action plans to stop this form of oppression.
