Felicity Grandjean

About the Presenter

Dr. Felicity Grandjean is the lead Instructional Designer at the Dallas County Community College District (DCCCD) LeCroy Center, whose team creates and maintains DCCCD online course templates and professional development opportunities. She taught in EC-6 classrooms for five years and taught/trained pre-service and in-service teachers in face-to-face, blended, and online higher education classrooms for more than ten years. She is a trained instructor on D2L Brightspace, Blackboard, Pearson LearningStudio (or eCollege), and Moodle. She is a Quality Matters Peer Reviewer since 2014. She recently completed the 2018-19 Consortium Leadership and Renewal Academy (CLARA). As a disability advocate, she completed the 2012-13 Hawaii MCH Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities program. Felicity received a M.Ed. in Educational Foundations from the University of Hawai’i at Manoa and a Ph.D. in Early Childhood Development and Education from Texas Woman’s University. Her roles in Higher Ed included designing, developing, and teaching courses; creating professional development and teacher development opportunities; grant writing and management; policy writing; and research.
