Linda Pegues Kapocsi is a professor of English as a Second Language (ESL) and Integrated Reading and Writing (INRW) at Collin College in Plano, Texas. She earned her M.Ed. at Abilene Christian University in 1989 and completed further graduate studies in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages at The University of North Texas in 2010, and her research areas of interest include pedagogical studies, student support services, and criminal justice reform. Kapocsi is a professional reading specialist and is a recipient of the National Institute for Staff and Organizational Development (NISOD) Excellence Award, the Two-Year College English Association Southwest Region (TYCA-SW) Travel Award, the Collin College Engaged Faculty Award, and the Collin College Mentor Service Award.
