Daniel was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela where he was exposed to cultural diversity from an early age. His commitment to educating his students and his community on tolerance within our pluralistic society derives from having witnessed, first hand, the effects of bigotry, hatred, and intolerance. He has traveled widely and lived in Latin America, Europe, the United States and the Middle East. Daniel earned a Doctor of Educational Leadership (EdD) from Drexel University. Daniel currently serves as the Dean of the Weatherford College Wise County Campus. He also has served as faculty in the Doctor of Educational Leadership Program at Arkansas State University as well as affiliate faculty at Drexel University, Center for Graduate Studies in Philadelphia, PA where he promoted understanding, dialog, and peace as a component of his lessons on leadership.
