Christopher Tovar

About the Presenter

Christopher Tovar has been part of the Tarrant County College family since 2004, when he began as a student. He earned his Associate of Arts degree from Tarrant County College South continued on to attain a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Texas at Arlington, and a Master’s of Science in Counseling Psychology from Tarleton State University. He served as a Student Development Coordinator at TRiO Upward Bound and is currently an Academic Advisor at Tarrant County College South. The population he enjoys and is dedicated in working with are low-income and first generation high school and college students. His wife, Jaileen, whom he met while working at Tarrant County, is also a dedicated educator.
