Full Description

This presentation discusses how the University of North Texas Libraries Public Services Division utilized assessment processes to restructure its organization, services, workflows and resources. Assessment strategies to be described include collecting statistical data from internal and external constituents, workflow analysis of division departments and job duties. We decided to physically change the location of service desks, combine some services, cross train staff and refocus our energies to achieve our goals for students and faculty. We reviewed statistics during our transition both physically and structurally to assess the changes brought about within our Public Services. The outcome was everything we wanted and more.
